• HIROSHIMA (Photo AFP) A ‘lantern march’ held here on Wednesday night to mourn the victims of the first atomic bomb dropped by American forces in 1945 passes by the Atomic Bomb Dome. On Thursday Hiroshima will commemorate the 64th anniversary of the nuclear attack which killed about 70,000 people (Dawn, p- 1)
