VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

   
 The Embassy of Japan is seeking to fill a vacancy for a local staff position at the Consular Section. The job is expected to begin in March, 2026.
 
[Job Overview/Summary]
He/She will be responsible for providing technical and operational support for the Consular Section of the Embassy. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Provide consular counter support (including Visa, relief for Japanese Citizen, Interpreter) and liaises with Pakistan’s Government offices,
2. Draft documents, including official letters, press releases and speeches for diplomats,
3. Arrange meetings with the authorities concerned, and
4. Perform any other job-related activity required to achieve the goals and objectives of the Embassy.
 
[Job Requirements]
 
1. Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in Japanese, English and Urdu language
- Knowledge of Pashto/Dari preferable
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
- Excellent report writing
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work as a team
