VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Embassy of Japan in Pakistan is seeking to fill a vacant post of an Assistant Advisor at the Political Section. The job of an Assistant Advisor may include some secretarial work; arranging appointments, collecting information, making analysis, drafting documents on relevant political issues, and other tasks as required.

Applicants should have proficiency in English and Urdu, computer literacy, keen interests in political issues and the international affairs and willingness to work as a team. Completion of a B.S. / advanced degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field are required. Each applicant is requested to send a C.V., a recent photo, and a copy of the CNIC to our e-mail (political-application@ib.mofa.go.jp). Applications must arrive at the Embassy by Sunday 15th November 2026. The Subject of your e-mail must be "Application for the Political Section Post."
 
Applicants shortlisted after the document screening will be notified by Monday 30th November 2026. The first-round and second-round examinations are scheduled to take place on Monday 14th December and Wednesday 16th December 2026, respectively.
